Based in the heart of the EU area, just opposite the Commission’s headquarters, FIPRA’s EU office is the hub of our pan-European public affairs network.

Brussels is the political capital of Europe. It is the seat of NATO and of the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Council of Ministers, the Economic and Social Committee and the Committee of the Regions. It has therefore attracted a multitude of diplomatic missions, sectoral, professional and industrial representations, think-tanks and NGOs. It also has one of the largest and most international press corps in the world. Devising and executing a public affairs strategy to engage and convince these audiences is our core business.

In the  EU decision-making process national interests are represented in many ways: through the positions of the Member States in the Council, by members of the European Parliament, and through the varied local, regional, national and EU level interest groups. Using FIPRA 's network across the European Economic Area, we are able to provide early warning and analysis of policy initiatives as they are being developed, identify key stakeholders, and design public affairs responses and campaigns which successfully engage with the EU decision-making process.
