The company has its roots in Jenewein Group which provided Public Policy and Strategic Consulting since Slovakia’s “Velvet Revolution” in 1990. On joining the Fipra Group in 2007 the company changed it's name to Fipra Slovakia specializing on Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs with specific focus on Strategic Government Relations. In common with other members of the Fipra Group, Fipra Slovakia’s core activities include advising companies and industry associations in their relations with government, parliament and regulatory bodies both in Slovakia, Brussels and Internationally. Currently the company is principally active in the following sectors and policy areas: Automotive, Competition Policy, Corporate Social Responsibility, Energy, Environment, Foreign Direct Investment, Finance, Food & Consumers, Health & Pharma, IT & Telecom, Public Procurement and Transport. Fipra Slovakia's team is mainly drawn from staff that have themselves worked for different levels of government. Current work for government departments focuses on Consumer Policy, Education, Governance, Innovation, Science & Research.
