Daniel Renton

Daniel Renton joined FIPRA in October 2009. A former BBC news journalist, he has been working in Albania and the wider Balkan region for ten years. In 1999, he was employed by the BBC World Service Trust in Tirana and since then he has headed the Organisation for Security and Co-operations’s Media Development Office in Skopje, FYROM, and become the Director of the Butrint Foundation in Albania. He continues to work as a consultant in Albania, and has extensive knowledge and contacts in the region. Daniel Renton graduated from Durham University and has a modern languages degree.
