Flor O'Mahony

Flor has been a public affairs consultant since 1989 and formed Fipra Ireland in 2000 as a founder member of the Fipra network. Dividing his time between Brussels and Dublin, Flor is a member of the board of Fipra International and heads up its Healthcare Practice. He is a former Member of the European Parliament and of the Irish Senate. Prior to holding elective office, Flor was Policy Adviser to the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Social Welfare in Ireland (1973-77) and to the Leader of the Irish Labour Party (1977-82). An economist, Flor has strong academic interests and was an Associate Lecturer in European Studies at the Institute of Public Administration in Dublin until 2006.  He is a member of the Institute of International and European Affairs. Flor speaks English and Gaeilge.
