José Gabriel Assis de Almeida

José Gabriel founded Fipra Brazil in 2008 having worked for eight years in Brazil with Fipra Portugal. José Gabriel is a practising Brazilian lawyer since 1984 and a member of the Portuguese and Paris Bar. José Gabriel has more than 24 years experience in business law concerned primarily in assisting foreign companies to invest and develop their activities in Brazil from a regulatory, political and legal point of view. A specialist in transport and competition policies, José Gabriel is also a law professor at UERJ Universidade do Estado do Rio de Janeiro and UNI-RIO Universidade Federal do Estado do Rio de Janeiro, where he teaches business law and international business law.  José Gabriel has a Doctorate from the Université Panthéon Assas - Paris II and speaks English, French and Spanish as well as his native Portuguese.
