Kalevi Hemilä

Kalevi joined Fipra in May 2010 as a Special Adviser having retired as CEO of Etera, The Finnish Pension Insurance Company. Kalevi combines expert knowledge of both Finninsh business and politics as he served as Minister for Agriculture and Forestry in Finland from 1995 to 2002 and is a former Director General of the Confederation of Finnish Industries. Kalevi is a Member of the Board of Directors of the Finnish food company Oy Snellman Ab.  Kalevi has a doctorate in Agriculture and Forestry and a Masters in Science of Agriculture from the University of Helsinki. Kalevi is married and has 2 grown up daughters. Kalevi speaks Swedish, English, and some German and French as well as his native Finnish.
