Rimantas Stanikūnas

Rimantas joined Fipra as a Special Adviser in early 2011. Between 1993 - 2010, Rimantas was Chairman of the Lithuanian Competition Council, Director General of the Competition and Consumer Protection Authority and Director of the Institute of Economics and Privatization under the Ministry of Economics. Rimantas is also a visiting professor at Vilnius University and competition policy adviser to „GLIMSTEDT“- law firm. Rimantas has published widely on economics, consumer protection, state aid and competition law. Rimantas was educated at Moscow State University and at the Lithuanian Institute of Economics under the Academy of Science. He speaks Lithuanian, English, Russian and Polish.
